PAACT Board Recaps
A plain record of every board meeting
Board Recaps are a free public service from PAACT, an independent coalition of Birmingham Public Schools parents. After each regular meeting and study session, we publish a plain summary of what happened: the presentations, the discussion, and the votes, reported as they occurred. Every recap links to the district's own materials so you can read the source for yourself.
We report the same way every time. We do not add adjectives about board members, we keep PAACT's own activity out of the record, and when something is uncertain we say so or leave it out. The goal is a record you can rely on whether or not you agree with PAACT on anything else.
