i-Ready is a diagnostic assessment used district-wide in Birmingham Public Schools to measure where students are reading and doing math relative to grade-level expectations. Results show Final Diagnostic outcomes for three academic years: 2022–23, 2023–24, and 2024–25.
Students are placed into five categories — from Mid or Above Grade Level down to Three or More Grade Levels Below. Data is drawn directly from official BPS i-Ready district reports and covers all K–8 schools plus Birmingham Covington School (school of choice).

How to read this: Each row shows a school's percentage of students scoring at or above grade level — averaged across all tested grades — for each of the three years. The Change column shows the difference from 2022–23 to 2024–25. Tildes (~) indicate the figure is an estimate due to small grade-level samples being excluded.
Figures show the percentage of students scoring at or above grade level at each school, averaged across all tested grades. Final Diagnostic each year. Schools with only 1–3 students assessed in a grade are excluded from that grade's calculation. "At or above" = Mid or Above Grade Level + Early On Grade Level combined.
How to read this: Each horizontal bar represents one school's student population for the selected year, aggregated across all included grades. Schools are sorted by combined at/above grade level %. Green on the left is strong; red on the right needs attention.
