FOIA Request #10 – Website Access Restrictions and Related Records

Under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq., I request the following public records:

1. All records from April 1, 2026 to the date of this request concerning the blocking, filtering, restricting, categorizing, or flagging of the domains paact-birmingham.com or paact-birmingham.org, or any URL containing "paact," on district networks, district-managed devices, or district email systems. This includes web filter and content filter configuration records, blocklist or denylist entries, category assignments, firewall rules, and email security rules referencing these domains.

2. All help desk tickets, work orders, or IT service requests referencing PAACT, paact-birmingham, or the domains above, from April 1, 2026 to the date of this request.

3. All communications, including email, text messages, and messaging platforms such as Teams or Google Chat, between district administrators, board members, IT staff, or third-party vendors that reference PAACT, "Parents Allied for Accountability," Betsy McDaniel, or paact-birmingham, from April 1, 2026 to the date of this request.

4. All communications with or records from the district's web filtering or email security vendor concerning the domains above, including any request to add, review, or recategorize them.

Please provide records electronically in their native format where possible. If any portion of this request is denied, please identify the specific exemption claimed for each withheld record, as required by the Act. If fees will exceed $50, please contact me with an itemized estimate before processing.
